Officials say that a third-tier winning ticket worth a $50,000 prize was sold at Laurel Park Liquor and Deli on Baltimore Avenue in Prince George's County, the largest win out of thousands that ranged from $4 to $100.
The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing on Wednesday, Oct. 23 were 02-15-27-29-39 with a Powerball of 20 and the Power Play multiplier was X2.
It marks the 51st third-tier winner sold in Maryland so far in 2024, and the second in two weeks.
With the jackpot secured, it will reset to $20 million with an estimated cash value of $9.6 million for the drawing on Saturday, Oct. 26.
The winner will now have 182 days to claim their prize.
"Lottery officials encourage all winners to sign the back of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location."
